Oh, my life...

It's something else.

Last weekend was intense. I went to a field party for Earth day that turned out to be a little more wild than I expected. It was ok, though. I collected two new friends and we played on the most amazing rope swing ever for 93% of the night. Also the sky was amazing the whole night. It was beautifully clear (as only a sky in the middle of nowhere on a kentucky night can be) and even got stormy for a while... I stayed up all night, of course. I've got a bruise on my thigh from swinging on the rope swing so much.

The party turned a bit sour in the morning when I came to find my purse had been stolen and/or dragged off by some dogs that lived there... I lost $90, my phone, my driving permit, a journal with lots of writing by me and various other people and my favorite polaroids, and most of all my camera. ;__;

It's alright, though. They are only things and things come and go. LIFE GOES ON.

I seem to be losing things lately, man. My python escaped from his tank one night a week ago and though we searched the house all morning, we never found him... I lost my ipod, and as previously mentioned, my purse with lots of valuable belongings.

I'll have to resort to scanning art to put on here at my dads house whenever I go there because I used my camera to do that here. Oh well.

Anyway, by the time I got to my old friend Doris' house at 3PM the next day (I hadn't slept yet) I crashed in a papasan chair and slept until six, when I woke up I wandered upstairs to go to the bathroom but instead I saw my friend Storey's bed and went to sleep again there. Ha! I was so tired.

On Sunday I got with some other chums and we tie-dyed, it was nice and chill. mmmm. Then we all had homemade fruit pie (courtesy of Doris, she's one of my favorite people I know.)

I'm friends with some guys in a groovy band called Onward Pilgrim (you can find them on myspace, if you're interested) and they've asked me to do artwork for their band (for things such as album covers and t-shirt etc. etc.) so I'm pretty jazzed about that... Hooking up with them this weekend at a festival where they'll be playing. *happy sounds*

Funny thing, I'm such a dork. I'm reading about seven books at once and they're all on my bed, so whenever my mom brings my little sister to my bed in the mornings when she has to work, I have to shove over this large sum of books to make room for us to both sleep..


I'm overwhelmed these days, but.... I think that's alright. It gets that way sometimes and one just has to live it. I could stand to wash my hair, too.


IN OTHER NEWS, the weather is grand. Spring is rather delicious. I love it. *frolicks*
